Union of Societies “Our children” Croatia, in cooperation with 95 “Our Children” societies located all over Croatia, continues with implementation of a successful project „Budi NEovisan“ (“Be Independent”) with the support of the Ministry of social policy and youth. Project includes over 100 children. We have designed a set of creative activities and campaigns in order to emphasize that it is better to be independent (“NEovisan”) then to jeopardize life dreams and possibilities of being successful.
With project “Budi NEovisan” (“Be independent”) Union of societies “Our children” is cooperating with other “Our children” societies from all over Croatia in continuing the child strengthening as well as raising the public awareness about importance of drug abuse prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyle in a local community.
During 2014 the Union prepared a set of creative activities that are being implemented in 95 “Our children” societies. Activities are focused on children’s participation: informal education, peer solidarity, theater workshops, anti-alcohol educational workshops, creativity workshops about addiction and healthy lifestyles, local child campaigns that commemorate dates dedicated to fighting drug addiction, smoking and alcoholism.
