Union of Societies “Our children” Croatia is willing, non-governmental, non-profit and humanitarian citizen’s association founded in 1950. As roof association, the Union gathers, encourages and assists to the rest of societies “Our children” in Croatia. Primary societies are founded in cities and municipalities and they participate in actions and activities for children.

OTHER ACTIVITIES?
Union organizes and holds seminars, counselling’s, summer schools and other professional conferences to educate staff from societies “Our children” as well as associates and participants on projects.
We publish manuals, proceedings, monographs, brochures, flyers for our members, coordinators, professionals and other interested public.
LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
Union of societies Our children is in Children’s Council which is coordinated by the Ministry of social policy and youth in Croatia. We are represented by Union’s president Aida Salihagić Kadić and vice-presidents Sonja Borovčak and Sanja Škorić.
For the first time, in Children’s council are participating child representatives: Karlo Škorić (Our children Opatija) and Anja Kolarić (Children’s council Zabok).
Union of Societies Our children is a full member of Eurochild, Defence for Children International (DCI), Child Rights Information Network (CRIN) and European Network Child Friendly Cities.
If you want to become a member of Our children, turn to your local branch of society. If there is no Our children society in your town or municipality, contact the Union and you will be given all the information on how to form a new branch.
